The Vinos 

The Vinos is the world’s only annual wine film festival competition. It was inspired by events like the Sundance Film Festival, Cannes, or the Big Rock Eddies beer commercial film festival. It gives wine enthusiasts the opportunity to compete for cash prizes and BC wine packages by producing a one to three minute video about their favourite BC winery, BC wine story or favourite BC wine experience.

A celebrity judging panel chooses the best of class entertainment. The submissions of the top finalists will be shown during a fabulous party on Saturday June 11, 2011 at 7:30pm hosted at the Watermark Beach Resort in Osoyoos.

The event is a lively, laugh-filled evening that starts on the Osoyoos red carpet. Enjoy the start treatment alongside celebrities and food and wine media. To set the tone, the screening of the finalists takes place on the banks of the Osoyoos Lake. A panel of celebrity judges will present the prizes to the top three submissions. Once the winners are announced, the party shifts gears - the wine bars open up and a live band kicks into high gear.

We know there are a lot of people out there who love drinking BC wine. Why not grab your friends or colleagues and create a 60 to 180 second video BC wine inspired video? This is open to amateurs and professionals alike.
